MBABANE – If you want to have an input on the Eswatini National Human Resources Development Policy, now is your chance.
This comes after the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MoLSS) has invited the country’s stakeholders to review the National Human Resources Development Policy. The announcement was made in a statement today by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Phila Buthelezi. The review is conducted in collaboration with the Eswatini Economic Policy and Research Centre (ESEPARC).
The review of the policy will happen in physical consultations to be announced by the Ministry, as well as through online channels.
According to the statement, the policy will provide a yardstick for the systematic progression and transformation of Eswatini’s human resource to effectively support economic growth and social development. It is based on a skills audit which was conducted by ESEPARC and the MoLSS – of which the National Skills Audit Report was officially presented in March of this year.
The policy can be accessed through the Government website, and contributions to the review of the policy can be made by anyone through the ESEPARC website.
