MBABANE– This year’s Miss Eswatini will certainly be different, as even the top 10 contestants will also walk away with prizes.
Oukitel Eswatini means business, as they have added more prizes for not only the next beauty ambassador but also the top 10. This was confirmed by the Marketing Executive of Oukitel Eswatini Esihle Dlamini.
Dlamini said, “Miss Eswatini 2024 final 10 contents will all take something home. They will each take home the latest C38 smartphone. The top three—the Queen, the first princess, and the second princess—will each get a smart watch as well. The next Miss Eswatini will get the latest OT8 tablet as well.”
She went on to wish all the contestants good luck. She also revealed that there are still more prices that will be announced as the build-up to the crowing of the next beauty queen continues.
Last week, the company made history by announcing the grand prize for the next Miss Eswatini, which is a brand new BMW i3, which is a fully electric car that comes with the Oukitel Portable Power Station to keep the car charged at all times. It doesn’t use petrol but the sun (or electricity). The crowned queen will also keep the car even after her reign ends.
In a previous interview with this publication, Dlamini shared that they, as a company, are doing their part in promoting renewable energy and a safer, cleaner environment, hence the electric car.
Oukitel Eswatini last month partnered with the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture to be the new directors of the Miss Eswatini Pageant.
It is worth mentioning that some former Miss Eswatini’s, under the leadership of veteran Vinah Mamba Grey, received a car but never an electrical car as the grand prize.
The last crowning of Miss Eswatini was held on November 28, 2022, in a glittering ceremony that was held at Sharma House. The reigning queen is Shanice Mamba, and the first princess is Fezile Mthupha.
Oukitel Eswatini distributes smartphones, rugged smartphones, tablets, rugged tablets, smart watches, laptops, and portable power stations.
