MBABANE – Reigning Miss Eswatini Tania Nunn will host the second edition of Haven Sip and Paint on March 2, 2024.
The fundraising event will be held at the Rehoboth Mountain Suites. It will kick off at 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The theme this year is ‘Radiant Minds.’
When reached for comment, the reigning queen said, “Haven Sip & Paint Fundraising is an event dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and assisting in fund-raising for charity initiatives under the Haven campaign in partnership with Westhaven Group, myself, and Fezile Mthupha.
This is the second edition of the Haven Sip & Paint Fundraising Event, which was last successfully hosted on September 30, 2023. The event is currently sponsored by Explorers, Rehoboth Mountain Suites, Calf’s Tours, The White Orchid Day Spa, Rejuvenate drip bar, Regnbow decorations, Deelangza Photography, and Swazi Scents.
According to Miss Eswatini, attendees will receive psych education presented by Lisa Badenhorst (a counselling psychologist) and have a painting session with Malwande Simelane (an artist). This event will also allow different artists within the nation to exhibit their work, helping them expand their businesses through networking and connecting with potential clients.
It’s also worth mentioning that prizes will be won through a raffle draw, which include: two white Orchid Day Spa full body massage vouchers worth E580 each; a rejuvenation drip bar IV vitamin drip therapy worth E1300; a Calf’s Tours getaway package to Mozambique, Ponta Do Ouro, worth E2,600; and three Swazi scent perfumes worth E250 each.

“We aim to educate attendees about mental health in an enjoyable way through the Haven Sip and Paint fundraising event. We will discuss topics around mental health under our Mental Health theme, Radiant Mind (happy mind), educating one about how they can maintain a happy and healthy mental state and how to assist others facing mental health challenges (depression, anxiety, or schizophrenia) in order to achieve our main objective, which is promoting mental health,” said Nunn.
The entrance fee of E350 per person includes a canvas, complimentary drink, raffle draw ticket, canapés.
