MBABANE– Fun, fire, nature!
The biggest prestigious camping festival in the Kingdom of Eswatini turned up the heat again this year and gave campers an unforgettable weekend of fun, camping experience and entertainment at the Mlawula Campfire Festival.
This was the third edition of the campfire festival which was held at Mlawula Nature Reserve in the Lubombo Region. The festival kicked off on Friday, October 28 and ended on a high note on Sunday, October 30.
The activities that were offered for festival lovers and campers included camping, hiking, aerobics, live music and performances, team building exercises, comedy show, raffle draws and games.
Eswatini Positive News (EPN) Entertainment Desk sought information on how the event went from Bongekile Mngometulu, who is Mlawula’s point of contact.
“The festival went greater than we anticipated because we wanted people to spend more time outdoors and people were very ready and they showed up in their numbers for that,” said Mngometulu.
Mngometulu further stated that they would like to give a special thanks to everyone who came through to this year’s campfire festival and also thank Sifiso ‘Illa Penboy’ Ndlangamadla who was a part of the organising team for this year’s festival.
