MBABANE – Pigg’s Peak, are you ready for Mpumi Mtsweni?
South African Gospel artist Mpumi Mtsweni of hit song Thath’Indawo, will headline the second edition of the Gospel Experience, which will be held on April 27 at The Subway Restaurant and Bar.
This was confirmed by Banele Dlamini, who is one of the organisers of the second edition of the show. The newly opened establishment is housed under the new building, which is located next to the Pigg’s Peak bus rank.
Dlamini also shared that The Subway Restaurant and Bar is open to all events and for the public to book at a fee for their private events. “The Subway Restaurant and Bar is a home away from home. We will host all genres of music as well as gospel, and also for the public to hire for their events,” Dlamini said.
Other artists on the line-up are local Gospel artists namely; Linda Dlamini, Nothando Hlophe, Gcina Masuku, Baba Ka Nonhle, Shiba and the Travellers, Thandiwe Hlophe, Fakazi Khanyile, and Ndumiso Makubule. The host will be Mphotholozi.
The show is expected to kick off at 4pm and last until midnight.
Tickets will be available at the venue for E100 for general and E300 for VIP.
The newly establishment over the Easter weekend hosted SA Afro-pop singer Lwa Dlunkulu and Dr. Buselaphi.

Mpumi started making music when she was four years old. She started singing as a worship leader at her local church, New Life Missionary Church. Born and raised in Middleburg and raised in Emalahleni in Witbank, South Africa, Mpumi gets her musical gene from her mother, who can also sing. Some of her hit songs include Thath’Indawo, Mawusiqondise (Nang’Mthokozisi), Getsemane Season 2, Moya, Owahlatshwa, and Angingedwa.
