MBABANE- Another business opportunity for Eswatini youth.
Once again, MTN Foundation has opened another business opportunity for small business enterprises in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The telephony company on Wednesday announced that through its 5th edition of the MTN-SEDCO Cija Ngebhizinisi (Smart Business) Programme, a lucrative sum of E200 000 has been put to stake for business opportunities.
According to MTN, the programme will also provide training on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship training.
MTN has stated that the process and progress of the programme will be broadcasted through the Eswatini Broadcasting and Information Services (EBIS) 1.
Khetsiwe Mhlanga, SEDCO’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said the programme would commence on October 7, 2022, on EBIS at 7.30 pm.
SEDCO is the acronym for Small Enterprises Development Company.
The CEO stated that the recordings from the programme would also be shared on social media in order to reach the youth population.
SEDCO exists to develop the Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMME’s) sector. It promotes an entrepreneurial culture amongst emaSwati through training and advocacy. To fulfil its mandate of entrepreneurship development, it provides business development services to add value to emerging and existing SMMEs.
