MBABANE – MTN Eswatini has come through for Ezulwini community by providing pipes that will help the chiefdom to have access to clean water.
MTN did this by donating water pipes worth E100 000 to Buhle Belizulu Rural Water and Sanitation Project. “Today we handed over water pipes worth E100 000 to the Ezulwini Community, in support of Buhle Belizulu Rural Water and Sanitation Project. The water project is to benefit residents of 2 485 homesteads and a population of 12 425 people in Ezulwini,” said part of a message written on MTN’s Facebook page.
According to MTN, it is important for the company to partner with its community on this project, especially because one of the pillars of the MTN Foundation is providing clean water and empowering communities by providing resources to community-driven projects.
MTN believes this collaboration would foster mutual benefits and sustainable growth for both the business and the community.
