MBABANE – MTN Eswatini has handed over equipment worth E750 000 to the MTN Simulation Lab at the University of Eswatini.
This happened yesterday.
According to MTN, the organisation saw it perfect to also launch the MTN Skills academy where emaSwati will be able to access basic skills up to advanced skills through the 2500 licenses which have been sponsored by MTN.
The company encouraged the youth to take advantage of the equipment. “We highly encourage the youth to make use of this platform to acquire digital skills that will unlock global borders for them, ” MTN states.
It has been stated that learning is free, no registration fees are required and the platform is accessible through the MTN Khanyisa App.
The University has recently introduced a new course called Cloud Computing Course and it is said that this is an incredible opportunity for non-technical graduates who are eager to acquire in-demand cloud computing skills. The donated equipment will be of great help in this new course.
