MBABANE – Upscale Live recording label continues to take #SwatiMusicWorldtotheWorld!
The recording label continues to live up to their movement of taking Eswatini music to the world, as their artist Lyrikal Busta’s music video has begun airplay on MTV in Southern Africa, and will soon be airing on TRACE Africa.
The four times SWAMA winner will play on the ‘Bout to Blow’ programme on TRACE Africa, and on MTV Base’s “Double Tap” programme, which plays on DSTV Channel 322 at 3:00 PM Central Africa Time.
“MTV is best suited to empower and positively influence our viewers and the music industry at large to reach new heights and breakthrough new artists,” read MTV Base’s response to Lyrikal Busta when informing that his submission has been accepted for airing on the channel.
“The music video submitted has been successful and will play on Double-Tap. As a result, the MTV Base music team has added this submission to the MTV Base musc library and the music team will the submission across the channel,” said MTV Base’s response to Lyrikal Busta.
The “Aw’funi” music videos which crossed 2,000 views in its first day was shot and directed by Director Kwenu of Motion Skies Pictures. It is also available to stream on Youtube.
“Dreams do come true,” said Lyrikal Busta about the milestone.
Upscale Live has been on a run of taking #SwatiMusicToTheWorld, with Young Zesh’s ‘Ligcebesha’ receiving an overwhelmingly great response from the public, the Siswati-laden ‘Afro Bliss’ by Lyrikal Busta which is currently doing the numbers, and the upcoming Sean Cast HQ project which has its first single as ‘Fasa Ngwane’.
