MBABANE – If your assets don’t make you money, they are liabilities.
These were the words expressed by the musician Mvelo Tsabedze when speaking about her newly nurtured talent for make-up artistry and making money out of it.
“I am a musician, fine artist and now I am starting on make-up. These are my assets and if they don’t make me money, then they are liabilities.
“With make-up, I love how it livens a woman up physically and emotionally. It is true what they say, if you look good, you look good,” said Tsabedze.
The 24-year-old revealed she does her own make-up and had been doing so for the past four years.
“I have really grown in doing make-up and I have received a lot of positive reviews from friends and fans who have always encouraged me to take my new talent seriously and make money out of it,” said Tsabedze.
The ‘Zabalaza’ hitmaker revealed that the process is more like fine art because of the precision of making lines and balance the whole look.
“I am able to do both minimalistic make up and I also use beads, glitter, different colours, and feathers just to create an artistic but glamorous look. I believe that is what makes my make-up different and stand out.”
Tsabedze also mentioned she was a very bright and bubbly soul and that reflected in the choice of colours she uses during make-up sessions.
“I do think I needed time to perfect my craft and also have the confidence to make other ladies look glamourous,” said the artist.
