MBABANE – Sincephetelo MVA Fund has bid farewell to 19 graduates and students participating in the organisation’s 2023 internship programme.
Speaking during the farewell event, the Funds Chief Executive Officer, Mfanimpela Myeni conveyed his gratitude for the hard work, creativity, and determination shown by the students in their various units.
“It is so sad that we have to say goodbye, but you never know maybe in future it will be welcome again. We wish you all the best and let you know that this is the beginning of new and great things to come. So we hope soon we will be getting messages of you being offered positions in other companies. “God has created a path for each and every one of us, so let us make sure that we maximise on any opportunity that is made available,” he said.
Myeni restated that he was impressed by the presentations on projects carried out in the past few months where he invited them to an upcoming Research and Development Conference which would represent an opportunity for them to engage a wider audience.
The Fund’s Corporate Service Executive (CSE), Sam Mzileni encouraged interns to continue striving for excellence in their future ventures. He admitted to the value of the work they had done for the company and expressed gratitude for the knowledge they had shared.
The SMVAF’s Human Resource Officer (HRO) Elijah Dlamini thanked the company’s executive management for launching the internship program, which he described as unique and valuable. He explained that the program was designed to give interns real-world experience in the corporate world.
