MBABANE- The National Agricultural Marketing Board (NAMBoard) has warned the public about unauthorised individuals falsely using the company name.

The Communication Department, through a detailed statement, mentioned that it has been brought to their attention that unauthorised individuals are falsely using the company name to fraudulently source monetary gain from job seekers.

“NAMBoard does not accept any amounts from job seekers for job placements and management has no knowledge of these individuals. We wish to caution members of the public of this recruitment fraud and request that they make it a point to verify with our HR office on 79278335 at our Head office in Manzini, should they be presented with any opportunity for employment at NAMBoard,” read the statement that was widely distributed as of yesterday.

NAMBoard further advised the public to not engage or indulge the imposter, should they be contacted by them.

“Please do not engage in any transaction with them. Kindly report the incident to the police emergency number 999/9999,” they said.

Meanwhile, Chief Police Information and Communications Officer Superintendent Phindile Vilakati said even though they have not received a specific case from any scams related to NAMBoard, they are well aware of such scams.

“We have cases like this reported to us, we have arrested some people related to such scams and we plead with the public to always report these cases,” said Vilakati.
