NASTY C AND CASSPER NYOVEST TO MAKE A STOP IN ESWATINI

… As they announce a joint tour themed ‘This is an African hip-hop celebration’

MBABANE– South African rap mega-stars Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest has announced that they will be embarking on a joint tour across the African continent later this year.

The pair shared the news with posts on their respective social media pages. The tour has been dubbed African Throne. The duo then listed the countries they will be touring and among them is Eswatini.

The upcoming tour, which was announced earlier this week, will see Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest perform in the country.

Meanwhile, a promotional video of the tour framed as ‘Two Kings Share One Stage Together’ And revealed that they will be touring across Tanzania, Ghana, Zambia, Nigeria, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Ivory Coast, Eswatini, South Africa and Mozambique.

Nasty C shared the news on his Twitter feed:

“PSA!! Me and @casspernyovest ARE GOING ON TOUR VERY SOON!!! #AFRICANTHRONE! This is an African hip-hop celebration and I’m super proud and excited to bring you this experience with the one and only Mufasa,”

An hour later, Nyovest took to his personal Instagram to share: “Be scared. Me and bro @nasty_csa going on tour together! Can anybody say Hip hop? #AfricanThrone”

Apart from the shows across the continent Nyovest and Nasty C are also going to tour the United Arab Emirates and have also hinted that more dates will be announced soon.

After years of some friendly jabs online, last April Nyovest brought Nasty C out to perform with him at the after-party of his Celeb City boxing exhibition fight with Naak Musiq at Sun City.

Together they performed their hit collaboration ‘Jump’ which also features Anatii.

A few months later, Nasty C returned the favour when he invited Nyovest to perform at his annual Ivyson Tour showcase in Johannesburg. As part of the rollout for the show, Nasty C collaborated with Nyovest for a single on his ‘Ivyson Army’ album titled ‘Loco’ This will not the be first time the pair performs in the country, as they have been once booked individually in 2018 and 2020.
