NCANDWENI – World Vision Eswatini has donated building material worth over E160,000 to the Ncwandweni Multipurpose. The donation is earmarked for the development of a piggery operation in Ncandweni.
The Ncandweni Multipurpose’a mission is to give its members and other locals work and a source of income. It comprises multigenerational men and women as its members.
Speaking on behalf of the Ncandweni Multipurpose Cooperative Society was chairman Siphephelo Mziyako. He said that “We’ve been saving as well to contribute to the development – in labor, materials and other parts.”
Mziyako added that “we’ve learned a lot about developing our cooperative, as we’re undergoing training on organisational management, piggery, and we’re accessing market information.”
The Ncandweni Multipurpose cooperative is partly financed by the Regional Development Fund.
