MBABANE – Being an MC is a science.
These words were shared by most sought after corporate gig MC Ndosh WebeNguni.
Ndosh WebeNguni, real name Mfundo Simelane, has been bagging corporate gigs recently.
The MC and comedian has done gigs for Standard Bank, Central Bank of Eswatini and Durban Tourism just to name a few.
During an interview with the MC, he revealed that being master of ceremonies (MC) was a science.
“You basically set the tone, mood and entertainment of the show. My job is to keep the programme running and keep people thoroughly entertained. It may sound simple but it is very challenging,” said Simelane.
Simelane further mentioned that what made him stand out was the fact that he was 1.94cm tall.
“I am 1.94 cm tall so that is what makes me stand out. Jokes aside though, I think my clients would be the best people to respond to this. I believe that I am funny, smart and very intelligent. I am also blessed to be surrounded by a creative and goal driven team, it just makes my work easier.”
Simelane also revealed people should expect more as he has no limits with his work.
“I will not limit myself but expect anything. I had not realized I had worked with so many banks until this interview. I guess I was making a bank statement,” said the Simelane jokingly.
Simelane also mentioned his manager searched for his gigs.
“My manager does the scouting for me. To be interested and showing interest are two different things. I hope there will be more corporates trusting me with their brands moving forward,” said Simelane.
