…to focus on youth

MBABANE – The Minister of Information Communication Technology, Her Royal Highness Princess Sikhanyiso has officially announced the appointment of the new Eswatini Television Authority (ESTVA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The Minister delivered her announcement through Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of ICT Phesheya Dube.
The newly appointed CEO is Mlamuli Mtshengiswa Dlamini. Dlamini takes over from Andreas Dlamini, who has been the Acting CEO for the past year.
Speaking at the announcement event at the station in Mbabane, the PS committed that the Ministry will be assisting the ESTVA the whole way in delivering on their duties.
“Mlamuli Dlamini will be the CEO, leading the station from where it is to greater heights,” announced the PS.
The chairperson of the recently appointed board of the ESTVA, Prince Sicunusa, also welcomed the new CEO.
“Please feel at home Dlamini, we will work. We will assist you in all the ways necessary,” sad the chairperson.
The new CEO also expressed a strong willingness to collaborate with his colleagues and relevant bodies as he executes his duties. “I do want to state one thing, that, at the core, the vision that I have for this station is the youth of Eswatini. Which is very much in alignment with his Majesty’s core for youth empowerment,” said Dlamini.
