NEW PUBLIC SERVICE PENSION FUND BOARD TAKES OFFICE

MBABANE – The financial regulation and guidance of civil servants’ pensions will come under new supervision as the new board has been elected.

The 10-meber board was presented today at the Eswatini Public Service Pension Fund offices in Mbabane. The board was presented by Minister of Public Service Mabulala Maseko who emphasized that “the new board should make good investments”. He added that “it is your job to make sure that the country’s money, the pensioners’ money is well taken care of”. He further challenged the board to make returns of at least E35 billion, as the previous board had made returns of E30 billion.

Re-elected chairman of the PSPF board, Sammy Dlamini, expressed an appreciation for the trust placed in him and the board. Speaking during the presentation, he said that “the new and incoming board members will add necessary luster to the board because of their broad experience. This team of 10 extremely talented individuals is responsible to take this fund to the next level of efficiency”.

The new board will be in office for a period of 3 years. The rest of the board members are; Celucolo Gina Dlamini, Vusi Dlamini, Dumsile Dlamini, Phiwayinkhosi Ginindza, Phetsile Masilela, Celumusa Tembe, Mamosheshe Tsane, Bathanda Hlatshwayo, and Cuthbert Khumalo.
