It is all good news for the national team, and Sihlangu Semnkikat’s supporters, as the nation’s pride’s new replicas are now available at E450 each.
The replicas will be available in three colours, which are blue, white, and yellow and they will go on sale on Friday, May 3 at three different clothing shops around the country.
The replicas will be available at Century Fashions, Mbabane, Mr Matata, Moneni in Manzini and African Heritage, Matsapha.
The replicas are part of the E5 million three-year deal between the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) and Umbro, which is the technical sponsor for the football national teams in the country.
Sihlangu played against Malawi in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Qualifiers wearing the new kit.
The kit was paraded by Sihlangu Captain Sifiso Matse, defender Kwakhe Thwala and Women National Under-20 Captain Nomfundo Bhembe.
The blue replica is worn at home, while white is worn as an away kit. Yellow is the alternative kit.
EFA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Mngomezulu said they were happy that they had adhered to the call by the supporters to make the replicas available.
“We are happy that finally supporters will be able to purchase the replicas, as we are getting close to the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The replica gives the national teams its identity and we hope supporters will come out and purchase the replicas in their numbers,” Mngomezulu said.
He added that they were happy that the replicas do not only attract Emaswati but even tourists purchase the replicas as they are world class. He said in the past weeks 23 tourists from the Netherlands were able to purchase the replicas that were under phase one. The phase one replicas cost E280.
Sihlangu Captain Sifiso Matse said the replicas were the lasts edition and they were very comfortable. He urged the nation to show their support by buying and wearing the replicas even if the team is not playing.
