NGWENYA – A waterfall has been discovered at Ngwenya and is already becoming a new tourist attraction site.
This reporter conducted an interview with Subway Restaurant Manager, Thabo Mdluli, who will be hosting ‘The Waterfall Picnic’ on December 3, 2022 to introduce emaSwati to the new scenery.
“It comes as a surprise to many people to find out about the waterfall as not much people know about it. This is why we decide to host the picnic to get people familiar with the place,” said Thabo.
The restaurant manager said they would be providing transport to the waterfall as it was a 10- 15 minutes’ walk on foot and was quite rocky.
“The event is free and pick- up point is at the Subway Restaurant which is at the Sibonelo Shopping Complex at Ngwenya. We will also be providing food stalls and we will have hostesses to serve on site.
“Drinks will be available and everyone will get a complimentary drink,” said Thabo.
The host further mentioned that the reason why they were hosting this picnic is to show emaSwati that there are a lot of beautiful places that are within the Kingdom of Eswatini that are still yet to be discovered.
“There will be music entertainment by Culolam, Trend Twins, Genes of the Vibes and Deal Deal. All you have to bring is your camping chairs and your festive mood,” said Mdluli.
