MBABANE- Shiselweni Regional Football Association prepares to host the highly anticipated Nhlangano Zonal League prize presentation.
Taking place at the prestigious King Sobhuza Memorial Stadium on Thursday at 12:00 PM.
In a display of unwavering support for local football, the Shiselweni forest company has generously sponsored the Nhlangano Zonal League with a substantial amount of E35,000. This sponsorship has not only provided a platform for talented athletes to showcase their skills but has also enabled the league to reward their exceptional performances.
The highlight of the prize presentation will be the distribution of the prize money among the deserving teams. Makhonza United FC, the champions of the league, will receive a lion’s share of E6,050.00, a testament to their outstanding performance throughout the season. The runners-up, Peace Makers FC, will be awarded E3,650.00, while Young Rovers, securing the bronze position, will receive E2,600.00. Nkoneni Vultures, the fourth-place winners, will be presented with E1,600.00.
Celebrating individual excellence, the top goal scorer of the league, Mabandla Sukati, will be honoured with a special award. Sukati’s remarkable feat of scoring 46 goals throughout the league has captivated fans and earned him a well-deserved reward of E500.00.
The Nhlangano Zonal League prize presentation is not only a celebration of the teams’ achievements but also an opportunity for players, officials, and supporters to come together and revel in the spirit of sportsmanship. While attendance is limited to one person per team, the champions are granted the privilege of bringing 25 individuals, including officials and players, to share in their victory.
