When she confirmed the news Mamba said she had taken a break from the entertainment scene because she had personal matter to attend to.

“I will be working with Lady DU and we will be touring South Africa and other African countries. I have been away for some time I think it is time I remind everyone why I became an MC in the first place,” she said.

Worth noting is that Mamba became the first ever MC in the country to form and create a fan base outside the country. She has shared the stage with entertainment big names like Kwesta, Kamo Mphela, Simmy, and DJ Zinhle among others.

The tour is expected to commence on December 28, 2022 until January 2023. Mamba when elaborating further said she is looking forward to the tour and further making a successful comeback to the industry.

“ It is important to take a break, nurse yourself and then when you are ready to get back up make sure you are ready and it is worthwhile,” she said.

Meanwhile Lady DU has also been making waves in her home country; Lady Du is a South African Amapiano singer, songwriter, and DJ. She started working on her music career at age 9 but struggled to gain recognition due to high competition in Mzansi’s music industry. Lady Du’s breakthrough happened on 2020 when she was almost giving up.

Lady Du made a global impact in less than two years of venturing into the Amapiano music genre. She made friends with several influential Amapiano artists, including the late Mpura. Lady Du was heartbroken when Mpura died in August 2021 in a car accident.
