MBABANE– Local songstress Nomalungelo Dladla will drop visuals of her latest song, titled Beketela, on Friday.
Dladla is a singer, song writer, actress, and MC. She is the brand ambassador of the Institute of Development Management (IDM) and is pursuing her degree in business accounting. She has collaborated with SA Ringo Madlingozi and SAMA 18 winner Tresor, among others. She is also a board member of the Eswatini Youth Council.
When reached for comment, she said, “It was an honour to work with Eswatini’s up-and-coming film producers; we were able to tell the story of Beketela. A tale of the turmoil that will befall a relationship without a good work-life balance.”

Beketela” was produced by SubJams, mastered by Big Dreams, and written by Dladla. She shared with this publication that the song was inspired by the concept of love being patient and the societal challenges we face in embracing patience in our era, which inspired “Beketela.”
The visuals for “Beketela” were shot at Jusbon Property Holdings’ beautiful rental apartments. Photography was done by Shaka Makhanya at his new studios, and video production was handled by Luyanda Motsa.
According to the artist following “Beketela, she will be dropping another single closer to Easter weekend. Some of Dladla’s highlights in her career include the success of her global hit titled Imiyalo, performing for royalty and former South African President Jacob Zuma at the Union Buildings, gracing TV screens, and her music getting airplay on major SA radio stations.
