MANZINI – Congratulations are in order for Nosipho Motsa, who was crowned the overall winner for Season 2 of Mother of Gospel Shows Rising Star Talent Search.
The grand finale was held at the Worship Centre in Manzini on Saturday.
This was confirmed by the brains behind the concept gospel artist Ndunduzo Matse, who congratulated the participants and said, “Congratulations on an incredible season and a truly deserving win! Our overall national winner is Nosipho Motsa.”
The four regional winners are as follows:
Hhohho Region: Nokuphila Dlamini
Lubombo Region: Colani Sihlongonyane
Shiselweni Region: Thembeka Sibandze
Manzini Region: Snowy Fakudze
It is worth mentioning that these contestants will get a free live recording deal courtesy of The Mother of All Gospel Shows on Saturday (April 27). Sihle Mdziniso will also be recorded on the day, courtesy of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC).
About 21 contestants made it to the elimination of the Mother of All Gospel Show Talent Search that took place a few weeks ago at Manzini Worship Centre.
It is worth mentioning that only five will be recorded after the last round of elections to be held this weekend. The auditions were held in all four regions, namely Hhohho, Manzini, Shiselweni, and Lubombo. The five finalists will record their music live at the Mother of All Gospel Festival, which will be held next Saturday.
The artist’s workshop will be held from 9am to 3pm, while the festival will start at 6pm and last until 6am the next day.
The line-up includes Ntokozo Ngcongoma, Nqubeko Mbatha, Everton Malaza, Sindi Ntombela, Lusanda Beja, Canaan Nyathi, Ndunduzo Matse, Oncemore Six, Phetsile Masilela, Nothando Dlamini, Fakazi Samuel, Nothando Hlophe, Make Siwela, and many more.
This year, the Mother of All Gospel Shows will be held on April 27 at the Mavuso Exhibition and Trade Centre. The workshop fee is E200. Tickets to the show General are E200. Lounge is E400. Kids Funfair entree is E100. Tickets are available online and on MTN MoMo, Ticketlab, Pizza Club Outlests, Galitos, and Nomakunini.
