MBABANE – His Majesty King Mswati III has appreciated the Eswatini Nation for upholding their culture and showing up in numbers for the recent national events.
His Majesty was speaking during the 55/55 Double Celebrations at Somhlolo National Stadium yesterday.
“I would like to applaud the nation for continuing to uphold our culture as a Nation. Our cultural ethos fosters a sentiment of compassion and neighbourliness, which are essential to achieving our goal of a developed status,” said His Majesty.
In addition to that he said if the Nation continues to uphold these values, this will be in line with the ideals of the United Nations and the call by the African Union.
Worth mentioning is that throngs of emaSwati have been attending all the King’s events since the month of September started.
His Majesty is fresh from officially opening the International Trade Fair and commissioning thousands of Imbali.
The King also touched on peace, where he said in order to maintain this, they need to put more effort in continuing to develop the Nation.
“Particularly in improving social welfare, health and education ensuring that those that need services must access them without a hassle. We must continue to create employment.” he said.
