MBABANE – The faith donors and stakeholders have in Khulekani Msweli saw him raise over E100 000 in 24 hours after the opening night, showcasing his latest project of building the eco-built JEREMPAUL Lifestyle Centre.
Dubbed ‘The Built Environment: A Story About Tomorrow,’ the exhibition was a huge success. It was held last Thursday at the Yini Loku Art Gallery in Mbabane. When reached for comment, an excited Msweli shared with this publication that the exhibition went well. “The exhibition was a highlight just to give the public a window into what we are trying to do. We would like to encourage people to donate towards the project. I am so happy to announce that in just 24 hours, we have raised over $6 000 collectively!! Let us get to $40 000. We can do it!”
Msweli shared that the drive to raise funds will run until May 3. According to Msweli, the project will create jobs and be climate-friendly as it will be built out of waste that is already there.
Msweli is the founder and director of JEREMPAUL. He has been an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and fashion designer for the last 14 years. He shared with this publication that people have faith in his credibility and trust his foundation because of his consistency, hence the donations.
