MBABANE – The Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development has initiated an impact assessment study on the Regional Development Fund (RDF) following suggestions from the people of Eswatini on how to improve the fund.
JBH Management Consultancy has been awarded E606 892.00 to conduct this study.
Principal Secretary (PS) Nonhlanhla Dlamini announced today, June 10, 2024, that the study aims to review the 2015 regulations of the fund, which focus on poverty alleviation.
“The study will help identify gaps and gather recommendations from the citizens of Eswatini that will assist in reviewing the fund’s regulations. A report will then be prepared and presented to Parliament for further discussion,” Dlamini stated.
Welcoming JBH Management Consultancy, the PS expressed confidence in their ability to conduct a thorough assessment and produce a comprehensive report within three months.
Shedrack Msibi, a representative of JBH Management Consultancy, expressed gratitude for being awarded the tender, highlighting that the project is also close to their hearts as JBH.
“We are honored by this significant opportunity, we will exert our utmost effort as the Ministry has placed its trust in us, and we are committed to researching thoroughly and delivering the best possible report, thanks to our capable team.” Msibi said.
