MBABANE – Senator Princess Temaswati has submitted that the 12th parliament should pass laws and policies that will retain and keep the economy of Eswatini.

Addressing their Majesties during yesterday’s meeting for legislators and His Majesty the King, Princess Temaswati emphasised on policies that will reflect recognising the interests of Emaswati.

“Foreigners are already benefiting more from our economy and our wealth is being taken away so it is high time the parliament pass laws that will bring back our wealth, retain economy and develop the lives of Emaswati,” she said.

She added that the Government of Eswatini should work together with the Information Communication Technology department to bring skillsets and adopt digital economy. “Small and medium – sized Enterprises (SMEs) should also educate tertiary students for diversity purposes,” she added.

She further talked about the youth mentioning that they are the future of the nation and they should get every help they need from the superior of the country. “The youth is broken because of abuse experienced in their various homesteads and justice is not being served in the name of ‘dirty family secrets’. The law should see to it that the abusers are being punished accordingly to protect our future which is the youth,” she said.
