MBABANE– Taking the hot seat.
This is Patrick Myeni, who has been appointed by the Acting Minister of Natural Resources and Energy, Jabulani Mabuza, as the new Chairperson of the Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) Board of Directors.
Myeni is replacing Dr Phil Mnisi, who is the Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini.
Myeni is currently the General Manager Operation at the Royal Eswatini Sugar Cooperation (RES Corporation).
Other members of the EEC Board are Her Royal Highness Princess Sibahle, Hlobisile Ndzimandze (Deputy Chairperson), Thandazile Dlamini, Henry Shongwe, Esau Zwane, Velile Dlamini and Winnie T. Stewart.
The appointment happened earlier today at the Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) Head Offices in Mbabane.
