MBABANE – The Best of Phathwakahle!
Local gospel icon Phathwakahle Mabuza will record her next album live next month.
The live recording will take place in Sidvokodvo at the Luke Commission Miracle Campus—Gilgal Auditorium on July 6, 2024. It is expected to kick off at 2pm. Entry is free, but a generous donation is welcome.
This is her debut live album, marking an exciting addition to her impressive discography of seven studio albums: Lingumlilo, Basilindele, Kukhona okuzowenzeka, Ingadlangadla, Sekonakele, Mbize, and Bayekele Bakhulume. The highly-anticipated release of her latest album, Ukwenza kwenzeka promises to be one of her greatest works to date.
When reached for comment, she said, “The theme is ‘Spiritual Healing: Do Not Stop Dreaming; Only God Knows When.’ Come and witness history in the making, as we capture this magical evening on a live DVD. You can relive the moments of healing and inspiration time and time again, spreading the message far and wide.”
According to Phathwakahle, the youth are confronted with significant challenges that often derail their aspirations, including unemployment, setbacks, and peer pressure. Our mission is to support and empower young individuals to overcome these obstacles.
She said, “These challenges are predominantly spiritual in nature, and therefore, our solutions are rooted in faith. We believe that God is the ultimate answer. Through our music, we aim to inspire; our presentations are designed to motivate, and the inclusion of testimonials and success stories will instil hope and faith. We envision our youth continuing to dream until their aspirations manifest with God’s guidance.”
Mabuza shared with this publication that this event is not simply a concert and it was a spiritual journey towards healing. They strived to equip the youth with the tools to combat anything that threatened to hinder their dreams from becoming a reality.
This concert promises to be an unforgettable experience that will rejuvenate people’s souls and inspire them. A portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting youth development programmes.
