MBABANE – Prime Minister Russell Dlamini is full of praise for the Hilton Garden Inn’s resilience against the COVID-19 outbreak.
The premier said the hotel was able to keep itself afloat during the outbreak of this disease and was able to keep going even at the time when the world was recovering from the outbreak. Dlamini further commended the establishment for its commitment to prioritising the health and safety of its guests.
The Prime Minister said this during the 5th anniversary celebration of the Hilton Garden Inn yesterday evening (May 16, 2024).
Dlamini expressed his delight in being part of the celebratory occasion, which marked the successful journey of the Hilton Garden Inn Mbabane since its opening on May 14, 2019. Noting the hotel’s renowned beauty and status as a landmark, he praised the world-class establishment for demonstrating its value as a worthwhile investment to the people of Eswatini.
He appreciated the Hilton Garden Inn’s commitment to employing local talent, which has had a positive impact on reducing the country’s unemployment rate. Dlamini praised the hotel’s partnerships with local educational institutions, providing valuable internship opportunities for students pursuing industry-related studies. He highlighted the establishment’s dedication to fostering growth and development, as evidenced by their practice of hiring graduates from these very institutions, resulting in a memorable service experience for guests, including those attending the event.
Dlamini commended Hilton Worldwide for its perseverance and unwavering support, especially through the introduction of the Hilton Clean Stay program, which prioritised guest and staff safety. Dlamini also recognised the hotel’s various corporate social initiatives, such as food distribution, running a weekly soup kitchen, and tree planting, all of which have been highlighted in print and electronic media.
