MBABANE – In the midst of the National events going on, Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini’s work continues.
Dlamini jetted out of the country today to take care of other national events.
The PM left the country for Harare, Zimbabwe, where he will represent His Majesty King Mswati III and the Nation at the inauguration of re-elected President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mnangagwa won a second term in office after the country went to the polls late last month.
Despite the controversy surrounding the elections, the Eswatini government congratulated Zimbabwe for organizing and holding what it labelled harmonized elections.
The Government page said the PM will be in Harare to attend president-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa’s inauguration today.The inauguration is taking place at the National Stadium
Other dignitaries expected to attend include Rwanda’s President of the Senate François Xavier Kalinda, Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa and Nigerian vice-president Kashim Shettima among others.
Meanwhile, His Majesty King Letsie III of the Kingdom of Lesotho arrived in the Kingdom of Eswatini yesterday.
The Basotho monarch is expected to attend the country’s ongoing festivities, including the Umhlanga Reed Dance ceremony and the 55/55 Double Celebration.
