MBABANE- The REPS is taking capacity building seriously.
Yesterday, was a memorable day at Matsapha Police Academy as twenty (20) on-field police officers as they received their certificates.
This was made possible by the Royal Eswatini Police Service who trained all 20 officers on a Middle Management Course which lasted four months.
The participants were equipped with knowledge of ICT, Cybercrime, Customer service, Public speaking and Legal matters.
The officers were conferred with certificates by the CEO of Royal Science and Technology Park, Vumile Dlamini, who was also the guest speaker of the event.
“I am quite confident that the course has equipped the participants with knowledge, skills and tools necessary to carry out their duties with even greater efficiency and effectiveness,” said the CEO.
National Commissioner of Police (NATCOM) Representative Vusi Gama also urged officers to continue doing their work diligently in their various stations and treat members of the public with care.
Below are some comments from the public (vervatim):
Comment 1: A big congratulations to you all officers. These are really good news.
Comment 2: What a transformation in this organization. Siyabonga kakhulu Natcom.
