MBABANE- A company with a heart of gold!
This is Premier Eswatini, the country’s long-serving confectionery company which has invested over E1 million in monthly corporate social investment (CSI) initiatives since last October.
The Premier Eswatini CSI team, headed by Sales and Marketing Manager Mfundo Dlamini, have been working on upgrading of schools in impoverished communities, partnering with NGO’s (non-government organisations) to distribute food to people in need.
“Seeing transformation happen within the programmes we run is our purpose in action. As Premier Eswatini earns the right to operate in our communities, we remain committed to alleviating hunger with food donation, improving access to education and schools attendance through school uniforms, sanitary products and early learning initiatives and do our part in uplifting communities,” said the sales and marketing manager.
Recently, the humanitarian Premier Eswatini teamvisited Khalangilile Primary School last Thursday to present school uniform and a soccer kit to over 450 pupils who went home smiling with a loaf of SUB bread.
The team then headed to Siteki the next day to hand over another soccer kit to Wenele Pirates soccer squad at Mzilikazi community.
“We will also be handing over at a Carepoint at eMpini National Assemblies of God on September 28, 2022 and we will head to a Farming Project at Lomahasha in the Lubombo Region on September 29, 2022.
“We are re-strategising our marketing activations, to accommodate our CSI projects because of the current economic times. We have launched a ‘Drop and Swap’ campaign, which will be mainly concerned with keeping Eswatini clean,” said Dlamini.
Explaining the ‘Drop and Swap’ campaign, the manager said instead of discarding the plastic bags, consumers would take them to activation spots which were seen with a displayed poster which also stated the day of activation and get to win instant prizes like swapping an empty bag for bread or a promotional items.
“The more bags collected, the more consumers enter to win a share of E30 000 which winners will be announced in all our social media platforms,” he said.
