PRIME MINISTER LEAVES FOR KOREA

MBABANE– His ExcellencyPrime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini has left the country for Korea.

His Excellency left the country earlier today for the Republic of Korea for a working visit, on invitation by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea.

While in Korea, His Excellency is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with Korean Prime Minister H.E Han Duck-soo where they are expected to discuss matters of cooperation between the two countries.

His Excellency is also expected to meet with the Mayor of Busan City, the President of the Korea-Africa Foundation, and the Chancellor of the Jeonju Education University, among others. His Excellency is expected back home on April 27, 2023.

In March this year, the Prime Minister left the country for the Republic of China, Taiwan, on a working visit. He was on an official visit on invitation by the President of the Republic of China, Taiwan.

While in Taiwan, he met with the President, Her Excellency Dr. Tsai Ing-wen, Prime Minister HE Dr. Chen Chien-Jen, and Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Jaushieh Joseph Wu, where they discussed matters of cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Prime Minister also met the President of Tex-ray Group,  Ray Lin, who is a major investor in the textile sector in Eswatini among other Taiwanese business people. During this trip, he was accompanied by Dr. Tambo Gina, Minister for Economic Planning and Development.
