Speaking during the event, the Indvuna of the Constituency, Daniel Mngomezulu thanked the government for the decentralisation process which will help community members at Mhlambanyatsi. Elaborating on the benefits of the newly constructed service centre, Mngomezulu said that members of the community don’t have to travel far for issues of revenue payments, motor vehicle registrations, civil register, social welfare, and immigration services, as all these were now operational in the service centre.

Mngomezulu added that there’s also a library at the service centre to promote educational networking between school-going youth in the area. The service centre also comes with wi-fi which is free to the public.

Mngomezulu also thanked Montigny, the company which assisted the community by building employee quarters for the Employee quarters worth E2 million, to reduce their travel time to work.

The Prime Minister continues to tour development projects in the country to better align the country’s revised strategy for the year 2022. During the launch of the Service centre, he said the government “will continue to invest in all initiatives to strengthen a people-centred approach to service delivery.” He added “This Inkhundla is a manifestation of our shared Vision of a first world Eswatini, pioneered by His Majesty King Mswati III. One of the key characteristics of this Vision is the decentralisation of Government and other services of importance to the Nation.”
