MBABANE– Prince Simelane officially opened the rehabilitated Somhlolo Road at Sandla this morning.
The event was attended by government officials and stakeholders.
The project was initiated by the Mbabane Municipality Council recently and the road had to be temporarily closed to allow rehabilitation.
“This road is a symbol of progress and development for Sandla and its surrounding areas. It will improve access to education, healthcare, and other vital services. Additionally, it will facilitate trade and attract investments, uplifting the economic status of our people,” Simelane stated.
The rehabilitation of the road saw Inyatsi construction providing employment opportunities for the locals. This was after the company was granted the tender. Some residents expressed their gratitude to both government and the company for the job opportunities. Meanwhile, The Mbabane Municipal Council also expressed gratitude to all stakeholders that got involved during the rehabilitation exercise.
