MBABANE – Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) fund held a breast, cervical cancer and mental awareness event at their conference room yesterday.
According to their Facebook page the aim was to assure the employees of company that their health and wellness was important for the overall productivity of the organization hence they cannot overlook it. The Chief Executive Officer Officer of MVA, Mfanimpela Myeni supported the statement above.
“The management is committed to ensuring that that health and wellness is prioritized within the fund and that the resources required towards the health and wellness employees are made available”, said Myeni.
He also revealed that there were other wellness activities that were celebrated within the fund with different themes. This means that they also focus on social wellness and emotional wellness of the employees, not only the physical wellness. He further emphasised the importance of raising awareness on contemporary wellness challenges and taking decisive action in addressing them within organizations.
“The programmes meant to address employee wellness will be monitored and evaluated so that informed decisions are made for improvement purposes and it is also importance to utilize the staff gym, participate in all sporting codes that the fund supports, as well as mental and financial wellness programmes at your disposal”, he said.
