PROFESSOR TO HEADLINE EMBIVENI BIGGEST BRAAI

MANZINI – South Africa’s Kwaito Artist Professor will headline the eighth edition of the Embiveni Biggest Braai, which will be held on July 20, 2024.

This year’s edition will be held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. It will kick off at 6am until 6am the next day.

Other artists who were announced at the launch of the event, which was held at Yesive Supermarket yesterday, are: Gospel artists Linda Dlamini, Mshikishi, M Nation, DJ Khuni Sbu De Drum DJ, DJ Matamza, Zulu D, DJ Maphi, Lady Zee, and DJ Yamkela. This was confirmed by Philani Mswati Charity Organisation Chairperson Lutfo Dlamini.

Professor, born Mkhonzeni Langa, is a SA Kwaito musician from Durban. He first rose to prominence as part of the Durban-based Kwaito duo Tzozo and Professor before branching on his own. His hit songs included Jezebel, Imoto, Lento, and many more.

Embiveni Meats on May 2 this year, partnered with the Philani Maswati Charity Organisation for the Embiveni Biggest Braai 2024 8th Edition. The partnership was signed at the Matsapha branch. Dlamini shared with the publication that they would like to extend their gratitude to Embiveni Meats for becoming their title sponsor of the eighth edition of the Biggest Braai.

Embiveni Meats will supply meat from morning until evening. Dlamini shared that Embiveni Meats will supply them with all sorts of meats, including pork, chicken, beef, and beef. He also shared that the event is very important to the charity organisation’s calendar as it generates 60 per cent of their revenue.

In a previous interview, Dlamini shared that they were looking at artists from Botswana and Mozambique. There will also be car spinning and music. This year, we will introduce a local traditional buffet known as Esangweni. With the partnership with Embiveni Meats, we will also have a seven-star area (VVIP) where people can sit after they have roasted their meat and enjoy the special experience.
