MBABANE- Principal Secretaries are determined in seeing excellent service.
This was seen through a three-day workshop which commenced yesterday, where the Ministry of Public Service hosted a workshop for Principal Secretaries (PSs) which is themed ‘Driving Excellence in the Public Sector.

According to an article issued by the Eswatini Government Facebook page yesterday, the training was aimed at equipping controlling officers on ensuring a human-rights based service delivery to emaSwati.
“It is also aimed at developing IT-based innovative models of service delivery and will review all policies that will fast track the provision of services as stipulated in the five-year Strategic Roadmap. The meeting will be officially closed by the Deputy Prime Minister on Friday,” read the article.

Present in the workshop was Ministry of Health PS Dr Simon Zwane, Ministry of Education and Training PS Bertram Stewart and others.
This workshop comes barely a week after we (EPN) reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs was on a targeting on a 24-hour service delivery.

This publication reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs headquarters in Mbabane was already issuing travel documents within a day. The communications officer in the above mentioned ministry stated that they were aiming at drastically improving their service delivery.
