MBABANE – Her Majesty the Indlovukazi calls for Lutsango to pursue agriculture with diligence.
The Queen Mother made this call on Saturday evening when delivering her speech during the Buganu ceremony held at Buhleni Royal Residence. The Queen Mother’s speech focused on the importance of agriculture for Lutsango.
She urged them to invest their time and energy in cultivating the land and raising livestock. “Our abundant lands offer great opportunities for those who are willing to work hard and care for the soil,” she said.
Her majesty further stated that agriculture was the foundation of the nation, and Emaswati should play a role in ensuring its success. Her Majesty also stressed the need for cooperation and collective effort, emphasising that everyone should work together for the common good.
Buhleni Royal Residence was filled with energy and excitement, as the Queen Mother addressed the Lutsango regiment. The event was a lively and spirited, with the regiments singing and dancing with enthusiasm.
The atmosphere was one of unity and pride, as the regiments demonstrated their loyalty and dedication to the Queen Mother. Her Majesty’s words were a source of inspiration and encouragement, urging the regiments to pursue agriculture with diligence and pride. The event was a true celebration of Swazi culture and unity.
The Queen Mother noted the presence of a factory for Lutsango productions in the Mpaka area, emphasising the importance of making full use of this resource.
“This factory has the potential to be a great boom for Lutsango, if we can maximize its potential, we can create jobs and improve the livelihoods of all those who work with it,” she said. Her Majesty’s words highlighted the need for the lutsango to seize opportunities for economic growth and development, and to work together for the betterment of their community.
