MBABANE – Record label, Ariel Empire is set to release Sancheziey’s song, ‘Ding Dong’ this Friday on all online platforms.
Sancheziey, real name Mukelo Mangwe, is known as a Christian rapper under the recording label, Ariel Empire.
During an interview with this reporter, Mangwe explained the inspiration behind this song.
Mangwe said the song was first recorded in March 2021 and it was a very personal song as it spoke about his journey in his love life.
“It is a personal and relatable story that I am sharing with everyone and I have poured my whole soul into every line of this song,” said Mangwe.
The rapper further mentioned that he hoped that someone else going through the same thing would find closure or healing through hearing his piece.
“The song has a video which was done in collaboration with Eswatini Youth Council and Glam Goddess (Zinhle Mabuza) which will be aired today,” said Mangwe.
Mangwe revealed the short film is based on a love triangle where by the man is caught red handed cheating.
“The song’s official cover artwork shows a picture of my ex-girlfriend whom I felt indebted to because she invested a lot to see my vision through.
“The song also has a December feel to it and we believe it will stay in the hearts of EmaSwati throughout the festive season. We appreciate the love and support and pray on the continued support of EmaSwati,” said Mangwe.
