MBABANE – The Red Cross in Eswatini has initiated an exercise to get more people vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. The exercise is currently covering areas in Mbabane.
Speaking to the media about the exercise, Red Cross Communications Officer Nontobeko Mbuyane revealed that, “The organisation in collaboration with others, especially the Ministry of Health, saw it fit that Red Cross can conduct an outreach programme to sensitise people and remind them that COVID-19 still exists. We’ll also look at the feedback from those who are vaccinated, as well as encourage the unvaccinated to vaccinate.”
The excersize is currently ongoing in Mbabane East and West including Msunduza, Sidvwashini, Bahai, and Mahwalala. Mbuyane revealed that the excersize will continue to other communities in the country.
