Health officer Sidumo Lukhele from the Ministry of Health stressed the huge role such programs play in ensuring efficient education.

One of the participating educators, Sebenzile Mamba from Mhlahlo High School, expressed her commitment to sharing the knowledge acquired with her students. She emphasized the importance of language, citing the World Health Organization’s alarming statistics that link negative communication to mental health issues and suicides among young people aged 15 to 29 worldwide. Mamba underlined that their awareness of the power of positive communication will help protect their students’ mental well-being.

This action not only signifies a step towards a mentally healthier educational environment but also stands as a beacon of hope, countering the rising global concerns related to mental health among the youth.
