MBABANE – The country’s referees social team used the off season break to flex their muscle against Urban Warriors Social team in South Africa.
The 25 referees left the country on Saturday for the games played at the Valentia Sports Ground, Nelspruit. They first won the fits game 1-0 before losing with the same score on the second match.
The Urban Warriors Social team comprised of former South Africa football stars including Dennis ‘Yuki’ Masina, George Lebese (Ex Kaizer Chiefs), Reason Chilwane (Ex Orlando Pirates), Menzi Mhlanga (Ex Mbabane Highlanders), Skipper Khumalo (Ex Amazulu) and Andile Fakude (Chippa United) among others.
Goal scorer for Eswatini Referees was Thokozani Shaun Gamedze while the coach Kuhle Mkhatshwa assisted by Nothando Mkhumane.
