NHLANGANO – Enthusiasm and thrill was the order of the day as young people were engaging on different topics on how to engage, grow in business.
This has been a success through Abaphile Foundation that hosted a High Tea Business Seminar for the youth at REO hall in Nhlangano on Friday where 98 per cent of the attendees were scholars. The mandate behind the seminar was sharpening the business minds and guarantee a better tomorrow for the youth. Nkosinathi Mkhaliphi, the founder and director of this Foundation stated that this event was specifically organized for young entrepreneurs and artists. One of the guest speaker was Lebani Sirenje, famously known as Rasta the Artist.
“It has come to my attention that such seminars are worth hosted hence going forward we will be hosting High Tea Business seminars regularly to enlighten more students on business. There’s already a prize to scoop of E1000 for any student who will come up with an exquisite business concept which run as a competition for young and upcoming entrepreneurs. This amount was donated by Mnqobi Mkhonta” said Mkhaliphi.
Students from Evenly Baring high and Nhlangano Central high school participated more on topics and eager to gain more knowledge about venturing into business. Some students mentioned that they are fashion designers, Tik-Tokers, artists, bakers to name a few. “This was an opened discussion led by Sam Pacho where everyone was involved. It was a combination of art and entrepreneurship” he added.
Samu Pacho, a Swazi in South Africa based radio presenter, artist manager and founder of Pacho Wines and Pacho Management Projects who was the host during the seminar mentioned that he was delighted to be part of such an event.
Mkhaliphi added that Lelo Simelane, the gym instructor unpacked exercise steps that helps in mental health and how one can improve the level of thinking whilst Mcebo Simelane, the Farmer educated the students on Agri-business.
