RES TO THE RESCUE AS 3RD WAVE RAGES ON

SITEKI – With the 3rd wave on our shores, RES Corp has donated 1 000 litres of rectified spirit to the Good Shepard Hospital.

The donated spirit will be used for making sanitisers, and it is worth around E11 500.

Sifiso Nyembe, RES Group Public Affairs Manager, said the company is always looking for strategic ways to contribute to the community. He said Good Shepard is one of the RES ‘s stakeholders hence the donation.

“Health is one of the company’s focus areas and this donation is one way to show that we stick to our obligation to be an active contributor to the socio-economic development of Eswatini,” he said.

Recently, the company donated an ambulance to the hospital.

When receiving the donation, Good Shepard Chief Executive Officer Muzi Dlamini said the hospital has been struggling to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic since it started.

“I want to thank RES Corp for such a donation. The hospital is currently facing financial challenges as widely published in the media. We can assure you that you are our key stakeholder in the Lubombo Region,” he said.

He continued: “our strength as private corporate is in partnerships, and such creates a sustainable environment. We hope and pray that your company sustainability prospers because of the work that you do for the region and the nation at large,”

Ever since the pandemic started RES Corp has donated thousands of litres of sanitizers and face masks to schools and clinics within the Lubombo region.
