MBABANE- The wait is over.
The wait and guess game might just be over for all examination candidates in the country as the Ministry of Education and Training has announced that results will be shortly out after Christmas.
This was revealed by the Ministry’s Principal Secretary (PS) Bhekithemba Gama who said the results, should be out as soon as the Christmas holidays are over.
Gama said they had seen the social media speculations about the results but wanted to wand them off as untrue.
“We are still to communicate with the Examination Council and find the perfect date, I can however guarantee parents that the dates they see on social media are not true,” he said.
In addition to that he revealed the since schools were opening on January 17, 2023 it was only logical for results to be released weeks earlier than that.
Gama made mention of marking having started and said as a ministry they did not want parents to struggle finding spaces for their children.
“The results will be out as soon as marking is done, this is also a process that has already started we want to give parents enough time to find spaces in schools,” said Gama.
Before wishing parents and scholars a safe merry Christmas Gama warned faceless internet people who makeup dates and confuse people.
“Parents and especially pupils do not this kind of anxiety about false dates, we will officially announce as a Ministry the rightful dates,” said Gama.
