MBABANE– Signing out on a high note!
Deep House Conversations (DHC) will be ending the year with a bang as two internationally renowned DJs from Paris in France, Rocco Rodamaal and Franck Roger, will be in Eswatini for the last DHC of the year set to take place on December 10, 2022.
Following the postponement, due to bad weather, of the previous DHC that was supposed to take place on the November 5, 2022, Swazi Boy Entertainment’s Mthunzi ‘Shadow’ Zwane has confirmed that the two DJs from France will be gracing Eswatini.
Asked why the two DJs were chosen, Zwane mentioned that these two DJs were recognised internationally and that is why he saw it fit to bring not just one, but two of the best Deep House DJs to Eswatini.
“Since the last DCH got postponed due to bad weather, these are the new dates that we had promised and we thought it better to bring not just one, but two of the best DJs to end the year on a high note and make up for the postponing of the last event,” said Zwane.
The Swazi Boy Entertainment Director mentioned the different setting that would be brought this time around as the DHC usually take place on Fridays in Mbabane or Manzini.
“This time around, we thought to make things a bit different and host the DHC on a Saturday at Mdzimba View Shisanyama, as mentioned before, we definitely wanted to end on a high note so we thought it best to host the DHC on a Saturday to allow all people the opportunity to attend. We also chose Mdzimba View Shisanyama as it is a more central place for people both from Mbabane and Manzini, so this is just a chance for all Deep House music lovers to gather and enjoy DHC one last time before the year ends,” said Zwane.
According to the Resident Advisor website, Rocco Rodamaal has been a DJ for over 20 years. Rocco’s career was initiated in small techno underground clubs in Lynos, France. Over the years, Rocco has developed a huge following in South Africa, where it has not been rare to see him perform in stadiums in front of a crowd of 30 000 people.
The Circus Company website states that Franck Roger is an artist whose dedication to his craft has established him as one of the leading lights in Paris. As both a DJ and Producer, he has proven himself to be a remarkable talent, remaining relevant and contemporary regardless of the latest trends
