MBABANE– Deep house music lovers are in for a feast!
Organised by Swazi Boy Entertainment, deep house music lovers are set to enter into the festive season with some hits from internationally renowned DJ from France, Rocco Rodamaal, this Saturday at the Albert Millin in Mbabane.
According to the Resident Advisor website, Rocco Rodamaal has been a DJ for over 20 years. Rocco’s career was initiated in small techno underground clubs in Lynos, France. Over the years, Rocco has developed a huge following in South Africa, where it has not been rare to see him perform in stadiums in front of a crowd of 30 000 people.
During an interview with Swazi Boy Entertainment’s Mthunzi ‘Shadow’ Zwane, he disclosed that he and his team took advantage of the fact that Rocco would be coming to Africa, so they felt it would be a great idea to ask him to come to Eswatini.
“Rocco has not been to Eswatini for a while. I think it has been a bit over five years since he last came here, so upon finding out that he would be coming to Africa, we thought it would be such a great idea to ask him to come to Eswatini. We felt this would be a good opportunity for emaSwati music lovers to see him through the Deep House Conversations events,” said Zwane.
Asked about the choice of venue, Zwane expressed that they usually hosted such events at the Manzini Club and the Albert Millin and they had not hosted an event in Mbabane for a while.
“Deep House Conversations events are frequently held between Manzini and the Albert Millin, so we chose this venue because we had not hosted this event in Mbabane for a while,” revealed Zwane.
It was also revealed that stalls would be available and different games will take place. The public are welcome to come and enjoy good music in a great ambiance.
