MBABANE – Multi-award winners and local musicians Sands and Nothando Hlophe have joined the line-up for the Gospel Worship Clinic and Festival, which will be headlined by South African gospel artist Dumi Mkokstad.
Emgambeni Empire is hosting a gospel festival dubbed The Gospel Worship Clinic & Festival at Mavuso Exhibition Centre Hall 1 on March 23, 2024. Gates will open at 4.30pm and the festival will kick off at 6pm.
The festival will be headlined by South Africa’s Dumi Mkokstad, Joyous’ Londiwe KaMasondo Cele, and local sensations like Sphiwo Ndoni, Mzayoni, Bhelekazi, Timothy Myeni, Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors, Phetsile Masilela, Nhlakanipho, Siya, Senzo, and many more. The event is highly expected to be one of a kind in the gospel music spectrum.
This was confirmed by Emgambeni Empire Director Mzwandile Dlamini. He said: “We believe in a very beautiful blend at Emgambeni. Sand’s love for Jesus has not gone unnoticed in our eyes; hence, we asked that he join the line-up to talk about Jesus Christ in a live music setup. Nothando is one of a kind to us and we value her so much. We cannot wait to experience a live performance from them.”
Dlamini added: “Rehearsals have already been tackled and we have one more rehearsal on the week of the actual show day. We cannot wait to experience this unique live music session. People should hurry and get their tickets from Shoprite stores or Computicket.com before time runs out. March is just around the corner.”
Fans have been assured that they should not worry about transport heading back home and they can come to the show and carry their equivalent bus fares heading back home. “We have partnered with commercial transport owners for our fans to head home safely. We do not want our fans to keep worrying about how they will head back home. We will be rolling out a registration form for those requiring transport back home. They simply need to carry their bus fares. However, terms and conditions will apply, of course. Our social pages will throw in announcements about transportation. Looking forward to seeing everybody come,” echoed Dlamini.
